Coronavirus: United States has the highest number of cases found in the world
The United States surpassed Italy and China on Thursday and has become the country with the highest number of new infections with the new coronavirus in the world, according to New York Times data.
The United States, which is the country where the pandemic is progressing most rapidly, has recorded at least 81,321 cases, according to figures from the American daily. Italy counted 80,539 cases on Thursday and China 81,285, according to an AFP count.
