On a disagreement on the management of deconfinement in Madrid, the region most affected by the coronavirus epidemic in Spain, the head of Health of the Madrid region, Yolanda Fuentes, resigned Thursday, said a spokesman for the region.
The official's resignation comes at a time when the region is preparing to ask the Spanish government to launch deconfinement measures in the city on Monday. In disagreement with this idea of deconfinement precipitated in the epicenter of the disease in one of the most bereaved European countries, the official slammed the door.
