The recession of the coronavirus epidemic continues in France where 24 new deaths have been recorded in the last hours in hospitals, bringing to 29,398 the total number of people who died from Covid-19, according to data updated on the government website on Saturday evening.
In detail, 19,014 deaths were recorded in hospitals and 10,384 others in nursing homes or medico-social establishments.
Currently, 10,909 people with Covid-19 are still hospitalized, of which 871 (- 8) are admitted to intensive care in a serious state, a figure which marks a significant decline since the beginning of April when the peak in intensive care had been reached with more than 7,000 patients.
Finally, 72,808 people declared cured have been able to return home since the start of the epidemic.
