The daily death toll from France related to the coronavirus rose to 26 on Friday, June 26. The number of people hospitalized continues to decline.
France has registered 26 additional deaths from the new coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 29,778 in the country since the start of the epidemic, the Directorate General of Health (DGS) announced on Friday 26 June.
The number of people hospitalized continues to drop to 8,886, down 255 from Thursday. The trend is the same in intensive care units with 17 fewer patients compared to the previous day for a total of 634 patients suffering from a severe form of Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.
