This Monday, the national crisis center and the FPS Public Health took stock of the evolution of the coronavirus epidemic in Belgium via their website.
6 deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours. 3 people lost their lives in hospitals and 3 in nursing homes. Among them, one deceased person comes from Wallonia, 3 others from Brussels and 2 from Flanders. A total of 9,661 people died from Covid-19.

As for hospitalizations, there are 17 new admissions this Sunday. We also note that 21 people have been able to leave the hospital in the past 24 hours (16,610 in all, since March 15). Currently, 397 patients are hospitalized in Belgium (an increase of 2 compared to the previous day).

A total of 84 patients are being treated in intensive care, 2 more than the day before. It should also be noted that 42 patients require respiratory assistance (12 fewer).

On this Sunday, there were 71 new cases detected on 12,019 tests carried out. This brings to 60,100 the total number of cases detected in our kingdom since the start of the pandemic. Among the newly infected, 38 are from Flanders, 18 from Wallonia and 15 from Brussels.
