The United States and Canada have decided to extend the closure of their shared border until July 21 for all non-essential travel, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Tuesday.

"Canada and the United States have agreed to extend the border measures that are currently in place by 30 days until July 21," said Trudeau. "It is a decision that will protect people on both sides of the border as we continue the fight against Covid-19," he added.

As a reminder, the longest border in the world has been closed since March 21, except for trade in goods and goods.
