Coronavirus: 1,263,000 cases in the USA and nearly 75,000 deaths


 

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused nearly 265,366 deaths worldwide in 213 countries and territories counted since its onset in December, with nearly 3,836,817 confirmed cases, of which more than 1,308,200 have been cured.


In the United States, the number of people who tested positive climbed to 1,263,224, with 74,809 deaths and 213,109 recoveries. The countries most affected after the United States are Spain with 2,536.82 cases, 25,857 deaths and 159,359 healings, Italy with 214,457 cases, 29,684 deaths and 93,245 healings and the United Kingdom with 201,101 cases of infection, including 30,076 deaths and 377 healings.

Russia has registered 11,231 new cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 177,160 infections, including 1,625 deaths and 23,803 recoveries.

It is followed by France, where the number of confirmed cases increased to 174,191 cases, with 25,809 deaths and 53,972 healings, and from Germany with 168,162 cases, of which 7,275 deaths and 137,400 healings.

China, the epicenter of the pandemic, now has 82,885 cases, including 4,633 deaths and 77,957 healings.

Japan lists 15,253 cases, South Korea 10,810 and Australia 6,894.
