
Russia announced Monday a partial reopening of the borders, closed since March because of the pandemic of new coronavirus, according to a decree signed Monday by the head of government. The Russians will be able to leave the national territory for medical and professional reasons, while the foreign nationals will be able to come to be treated in Russia where if they have to take care of close relations, specified the Prime Minister Mikhaïl Michoustine.
As part of a cautious deconfinement, Moscow has already reopened shops and its parks on June 1. Millions of Muscovites have remained confined to their homes since the end of March. The pass system implemented in the city in mid-April is maintained until June 14.
Note that Moscow will end on June 9 the confinement imposed on the population since the end of March, announced the mayor of the city on Monday. "As of tomorrow, the confinement and the pass system will be lifted," said Sergei Sobianin in a video posted on Facebook, welcoming that "Moscow is returning to its usual rhythm of life," specifying a calendar extending until the end of June for the reopening of public and leisure places, in particular catering and sports halls.
